Es gibt mobile D\u00fcnen mit einer H\u00f6he von bis zu 42 Metern, die sich mit einer Geschwindigkeit von etwa 9 Metern pro Jahr bewegen k\u00f6nnen und dabei die St\u00fcmpfe toter B\u00e4ume zur\u00fccklassen. Das Gebiet war einst ein Golf, dessen \u00dcberreste die Gletscherseen Lebsko und Gardno sind. Der Park, ein Weltbiosph\u00e4renreservat, ist ein Paradies f\u00fcr Wildv\u00f6gel; mehr als 250 Arten sind hier zu finden. Der h\u00f6chste Punkt des Parks, Rowokol, bietet einen sch\u00f6nen Blick auf die D\u00fcnen.
